European Infrastructure Charging Information System

EICIS is the European Infrastructure Charging Information System run by RailNetEurope.
This web tool provides fast information on charges related to the use of European rail infrastructure.

Set up as a web-based umbrella for the various national rail infrastructure charging systems, EICIS estimateses the price for the use of international train paths within minutes, 24 hours a day - all of this free of charge.

EICIS calculates charges for:

• train paths,
• station fees
• and shunting fees.

At the moment the system covers 16 European rail networks and is being enhanced continuously. Around 350 users from 21 countries are making use of this advanced system today.
