Approximately 70 timetable experts covering almost all European Rail Infrastructure Managers and Capacity Allocation Bodies got together in Budapest to develop optimized international train path offers for the annual timetable 2011. For this purpose about 120 bi- and multilateral meetings were held during these four days.

The increased use of Pathfinder for international path requests strongly enhances path coordination. However, many path requests are still placed nationally without complete harmonisation which creates unnecessary workload during the path coordination process.
The next RNE Technical Meeting will be held from 20th to 23rd of June 2011. For further information on Timetabling please click here.
